Annual Celebration of Baseball and Film to be Held Sept. 21-23 in Cooperstown
Baseball and the movies grew up together in America, becoming a part of the fabric of the nation that made both famous.
Their shared history is on display every day at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum through the Baseball At The Movies exhibit. And the newest films capturing the essence of the National Pastime are featured in the Museum’s annual Baseball Film Festival.
The 13th annual Baseball Film Festival will be held Sept. 21-23 in Cooperstown, and filmmakers can submit their work to be considered for the Festival until Sept. 3. Films can be of any length and genre, but must have been released within the last five years and feature baseball as a primary or secondary theme.
Tickets for each screening are free but must be reserved. Participants in the Museum’s Membership Program can reserve tickets starting Sept. 10 by calling 607-547-0397. Any remaining tickets will be made available to the general public starting Sept. 17.
