COOPERSTOWN CANDLELIGHT GHOST TOURS
WELCOMES GHOST HUNTERS & OFFERS TOURS DURING WINTER MONTHS

In honor of the Ghost Hunters’ visit, Cooperstown Candlelight Ghost Tours will continue to offer tours by appointment during the winter season, from November through March. To schedule a tour by appointment, please call 607-547-8070 or send an e-mail to bmarkusen@stny.rr.com. Scheduled tours will depart from Pioneer Park, located on the corner of Main and Pioneer streets in the center of the village.
Prices for tours during the winter will remain the same as during the regular season: $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 6-12. Children 5 and under will continue to receive free admission. Special group rates for groups of 10 or more, and 15 or more, are also available.
Wintertime tours will include such locales as the aforementioned Otesaga Hotel, haunted Lake Otsego, the Christ Episcopal Church, and the house known as Pomeroy Place, one of the most currently active haunted locations in the village.
GLIMMERGLASS OPERA ANNOUNCES 2010 FESTIVAL ARTISTS
Glimmerglass Opera’s 2010 Festival will feature new productions of Puccini’s Tosca, Copland’s The Tender Land, Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro and the U.S. professional stage premiere of Handel’s Tolomeo. The productions will run in rotation in the Alice Busch Opera Theater in Cooperstown from July 9 through August 24, 2010. For more information on Glimmerglass Opera, visit www.glimmerglass.org.
